Nico Amato is a fine art photographer working in abstraction and motion. Drawn to movement and the overlooked, he uses intentional camera movement and long exposure to make images that resist easy reading; work that asks the viewer to sit with their own response rather than be told what to see. His photographs have been exhibited at the Bristol Art Museum in Bristol, RI, and Black Box Gallery in Portland, OR. He lives and works in Bristol, Rhode Island.
